A Few Kind Words

Losing our Mum and Dad unexpectedly on the same day was unbearable, but Graham was the calm in the storm. From the very beginning, he supported us and gently led the way, like a beacon of light in a dark and unfamiliar place.

He was always readily available, whether by phone or through home visits, offering reassurance, kindness, and guidance when we needed it most. Graham led the joint funeral service from start to finish with absolute care, striking the perfect balance between sentiment and gentle humour. He is a confident, fluent speaker who truly understood how to honour both Mum and Dad.

On the saddest of days, he ensured they were remembered with dignity, warmth, and love. We will be forever grateful for Graham’s compassion, kindness, and unwavering support — not just on the day itself, but throughout the entire journey and beyond.

We are very grateful to have had such a professional celebrant for my brother Dave’s Celebration of Life. From our first conversation, Graham’s warmth and empathy came through and he showed genuine interest in Dave’s life.

Graham recently officiated a service at my funeral venue in Staffordshire. He travelled over 3 hours to help the family say goodbye.

He communicated very well in the run up to the service with the funeral director, our venue, the military who were also in attendance and of course the family.

The service he delivered at both the chapel, and crematorium was respectful, with appropriate humour in places, he presented very well.
